"proper foot alignment and insoles are the foundation of good ski performance"

Ski Boot Insoles

I began Bootfitting around 2005 and worked across various ski resorts, shops, and training programmes.  Some of the seasons I worked in ski resorts such as Les Deux Alpes and Meribel and winters in in New Zealand where I also completed a Ski Instructor Course at Treble Cone.  In the Uk, alongside my day to day insole business at A Step at a Time, I have worked, and continue to work with The Skiers Lounge, Solutions 4 Feet, Ski Bartlett, Ski Exchange and most recently The Fitting Mill. These roles have had both a training and delivery element to them. I’m incredibly fortunate to work alongside some exceptional talent in these roles

I’ve worked tirelessly over the years to build a solid reputation in ski shops and am known to be skilled at solving complex ski boot fit issues, combining technical boot work with foot biomechanics. And ultimately helping both recreational skiers and elite athletes ski more comfortably.

My approach focuses on the idea that proper foot alignment and insoles are the foundation of good ski performance.

Skiing remains a big focus for me. So parallel to my private Insole fabrication business I am also found in a variety of independent ski shops – mostly from September to March, on certain days of the week
